    How to clear web browser's cache, cookies, and history

    When you are using internet browser it uses cache to store few information about webpages you visit. Characteristics of browser is same on all devices. For example Images that are there on the page will be stored in cache so next time you visit same page, that will load bit quicker as compared to first time.And next time there won't download of the image. There is always need to clear the cache, cookies and history to save some space and we have observed that cache and cookies causes issue while login to some webpages as well. Reason is quick unknown though developers ask to clear the cache, cookies and history.



    Kindly Note -  When you clear the data, it will cause removal of previously visited all pages, saved passwords and Address bar predictions. For most of browsers ctrl+shift+delete (windows) / command+shift+delete is shortcut to open the clearing cookies,history and cache tab.

    Chrome 

    Top right you will see a vertical three dots. Click on it and go to select Settings(Step 1) > Show advanced settings(Step 2) > Clear browsing data(Step 3).

    Now you will have a pop up as -


    Chose all the appropriate options available. And click on Clear Browsing Data


    Chrome Browser user can directly type following address in address bar -  chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
